With my new job and walking to work most days now, I decided that it would be a good idea to invest some good rain boots. I had another pair of rain boots - but they lost their waterproof-ness because they leaked and would soak my feet - totally defeating the purpose of wearing rain boots, in my opinion! And me being me, I decided, why get a pair of rain boots in a sensible color? Go for red! :)
My rain jacket is my find of the season - thank you once again TJ Maxx. I actually finally used the gift card that I won a few months ago on both the best and worst day of September 2010 for me. When I met up with the other lovely NOVA ladies, I fell in love with Annie's orange trench. So when I went shopping the next day with my mom to our mecca, I decided to just on a lark look at the coats section to see if TJ had anything. Lo and behold, this beauty was there. I don't think I've worn another jacket since!
