Here We Go!

I think that I am participating in this 30 for 30 remix challenge, along with hundreds of other blogs out there, but I haven't posted my 30 items yet because I haven't quite figured them all out yet.  Yes, procrastination is the name of the game.  Actually, to be honest, I blame it all on the weather.  You see, I had ordered a few items for this remix (don't judge), and was waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting for like forever for them to arrive.  Because of the snowmadaggedon last week here in the DC Metropolitan area, the said packages were delayed and delayed and delayed from arriving and in fact did not arrive until yesterday.  SO I didn't get to try them on until last night when I got home AND of course, some of them did not work out the way that I was hoping them too.  I mean, I had all my outfits set! I was ready to go!

So because of that setback, I am taking a little bit more cavalier approach and making up the rules as I go, which means that I still haven't completely decided as to what has made the list of items.  BUT, that being said, all the items pictured here - dress, shirt, cardigan, and boots - have all made the proverbial cut :).

I'm hoping to set the list in stone tonight, but I have a few other priorities right now that I am attempting to handle.  Coupled with the fact that I am fighting massive exhaustion for some reason, I am not promising anything :).

And KUDOS to everyone who has started off with a bang today! I can't wait to see everyone's outfits come alive over the course of the next month.  I am excited to be creatively inspired by everyone - that is my favorite part about doing this challenge :).

Dress - Banana Republic
Cardigan - J.Crew
Shirt, Belt - Target
Boots - Steve Madden
Necklace - Vintage Valley Girl

What a pretty color cardigan! I haven't picked out all of my items yet, either. I think I have 25.

I love this outfit. I wore something quite similar yesterday, but I didn't have a shirt layered underneath. It was more classic paired with pearls and leopard print heels to jazz it up. I can't wait to see what you choose. I am actually very surprised that I was so on top of this. Usually I am not, but maybe it is first time excitement?

I have to do this some day. Unfortunetly right now I wear a uniform to work so I do the 2 for 365. So when I have days off I wanna wear anything and everything in my closet!! hehe. I do love watching other people do these, such a great way to experiment with your clothes and style!

I really love the layering in this outfit; layering is something I have not mastered yet, so if I decide to attempt it, I am using you as inspiration! I totally didn't realize you were in the DC area - I'm in PA, which isn't too too far. Once spring arrives (if it ever gets here..) we should definitely meet up somewhere in between! I'll have to double check those states that are below PA again lol...

Oh, I REALLY like this outfit. I want a chambray shirt like that... and the peach color on your cardigan is so pretty! Great mix... can't wait to see the rest of your 30x30 picks!

The peach and chambray are just DIVINE! And I love finding more local DC/NOVA bloggers--I've found at least 3 of you through Kendi's remix page today, and I thought there weren't many of us!

I decided not to join this 30for30. I'd love too, but I don't think I could find so much time. It would take me to long. On one hand I am very excited to see what the girls are going to wear, on the other hand, there are only 24 hours a day to do everything. :(
By the way, your cardigan is unbelievably pretty!
