Small Time Style: Basic Black, Pt. 2

This outfit had to transition from a day full of work to a wedding rehearsal in the evening. I was actually going for another black dress that I have, but as I was going through my closet I saw this dress and realized I hadn't worn it in a while. Which is a shame, because I love it. It's a great LBD and I've worn it to many NSO performances.

Because of said wedding rehearsal and a full day of work, I ran out of time to take any outdoor pictures today. Thus, again, here we are inside at my apartment!

And it's also another take on the basic black ensemble - except this time it's in dress form instead of t-shirt and jeans. Yet same basic principle - one solid color with pops of color to make it stand out. Also I love these shoes with the outfit. These are Tahari shoes again. I love this brand of shoes - I can wear them through most of the day and into the night without my shoes hurting my feet too, too much.
