I live by the philosophy that if you don't feel good, the easiest way to perpetuate that feeling is to stay in your sweats all day. Don't get me wrong - I love my sweat pants. They were the first things I changed into when I got home yesterday - that and a nice old comfy long t-shirt. But I find sometimes that if you make yourself get a shower, put on some makeup and some real clothes, your whole being starts to put itself on the road to recovery.
Therefore, even though I am suffering from a horrendous summer cold, I decided the best and easiest way to get over it would be to dress like the cold didn't exist. Thus, this outfit. This was a hard one to put together. The top part came pretty easy, but the bottom half did not. Luckily this khaki skirt (an old friend) ended up being just the right piece.
